The district office has announced the first figures from the recently started vaccination center.
The fight against the pandemic is "at full speed".
Three weeks after the start of the vaccination, around 2,600 people in the Freising district have already received the first injection against the corona virus.
"At the beginning of next week, the mobile vaccination teams will go to some of the Lebenshilfe facilities, and then all retirement and nursing homes in the district will have their first vaccination," said District Office spokeswoman Eva Zimmerhof.
Since Saturday, January 9th, the forces of the BRK Freising and the Johanniter from Allershausen have also been in action in the vaccination center, which is located on General-von-Stein-Straße in Freising.
In the former stone barracks, all over 80-year-olds from the district currently receive the serum if they have registered for it - via e-mail or post.
About 600 vaccinations were given in the first week.
7-day incidence has risen again
Compared to Friday, the seven-day incidence in the district has risen again: According to the Robert Koch Institute, it was 161.7 on Sunday (previously: 150).
41 other people were infected with Corona.
The total number of cases since the pandemic started: 4,941.
