Clashes broke out this morning (Tuesday) in the Sanhedria neighborhood of Jerusalem, after police arrived at the scene to enforce Corona restrictions at the Breslav yeshiva operating there.

The policemen who were called to the scene arrested six boys who were at the scene, and responded to calls from "Nazis" from civilians who were happy about it.

Police claimed that dozens of people "crowded" the place and blocked the traffic, "while even trying to prevent police forces from entering places where there is a blatant violation of regulations."

It was further alleged that one of the detainees was detained after a knife and gas spray were found in his possession.

Jerusalem is a red city and its traffic light score is 9.2 out of 10. The entire city has about 16,000 active patients.

According to the municipality, the Sanhedria neighborhood where the yeshiva is located is also considered a red neighborhood.

Earlier this week, documentation was published showing that the Talmud Torah "Hachmat Shlomo" in the neighborhood also opened in violation of the guidelines.

This is an institution led by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, one of the leaders of the ultra-Orthodox public, who recently ordered the closure of educational institutions "for a few days," as he put it.

The people of Rabbi Kanievsky's house did not answer the question of whether he allowed the reopening of Talmudic Torah throughout the country.

It was also reported that several fines of 5,000 were recorded for some of those present, and that the organizer of the event would be summoned for a criminal investigation on suspicion of spreading a disease.

However, a senior stork source who hosted the mass wedding said the event lasted in a limited format of family members.

To the full article

Earlier, the corona projector in the ultra-Orthodox sector, Roni Noma, told a media briefing that 30% of the daily morbidity comes from the ultra-Orthodox sector, but stressed that "the signs indicate a curb" in morbidity among residents, referring extensively to the ultra-Orthodox education system.

He said there was a need for more enforcement in the educational institutions in the sector, but acknowledged that closing them for another ten days posed a real difficulty.

This, after documenting in recent days how many schools continue to operate contrary to guidelines.

He said that 15% of ultra-Orthodox educational institutions are open in violation of the guidelines, and explained that the figure is "between assessment and hypothesis."

Yesterday, the corona projector in the ultra-Orthodox sector, Roni Noma, said that 30% of the daily morbidity comes from the ultra-Orthodox sector, but stressed that "the signs indicate a curb" in morbidity among residents, and commented extensively on the ultra-Orthodox education system.

"We all know that there are educational frameworks in some places that are open, but the majority is closed. We know this - not about everything, but we know some things. We must honestly say that the majority is closed. Will it continue? I do not know," said Noma.

"We all feel the currents and the pressure and know it will be difficult to hold it that way for another ten days, it is a big challenge and we are dealing with it. If the closure is extended, we will have to act that the current level of retention continues."

Noma was asked by Walla!

NEWS Is there enough police enforcement in the ultra-Orthodox localities, and replied that he would have preferred if there had been more significant enforcement.

"The police do what they do, they will explain to you what they do. In some places we see that there is enforcement, is it to the extent we would like? We would all like more," he said.
