Three years after leaving his cell, the main heir to the Samsung empire has just been sentenced on appeal to two and a half years behind bars by the South Korean courts.
This is yet another blow for the son of the visionary president of the electronics giant, Lee Khun hee, who died last October.
His official return to the helm of the group is therefore further postponed, in the midst of a transformation of the global technological landscape.
