The White House this evening (Tuesday) released the farewell speech of outgoing US President Donald Trump.
"We are praying for the success of the new administration. The movement we established just at the beginning," he said.
In the speech, Trump once again condemned the attack on Capitol Hill, but did not accept responsibility for his part in it or officially acknowledged his loss to Joe Biden, whose inauguration he is boycotting.
Trump further said he had mobilized the world "to confront China as it had never been before".
He noted that he has been the first president for "many decades" that no new war has been waged during his tenure.
