The last few months have been unconventional and not easy for all of us, and in light of the situation B144 is launching a new and special project designed to pardon small business owners across the country.

Each time we will bring you here the story of another business, so that you can get to know it and maybe even support it.

And this time we are talking to David Sela, the entrepreneur, founder and director of the Accounting College in Kfar Saba.

Business Name:

Accounting College

of Establishment Year:

1990

Tell us about your business:

"This is a college for accounting, payroll and tax courses. We usually have 15 courses that take place on a regular basis. The courses have different lengths and can last from half a year to two years, with "Each class has an average of 15 students, in the age range between 20 and 50 for the most part. Upon graduation, our students come out with a certification certificate from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labor and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants."

How Does B144 Help Promote Your Business?

"Our college has a page on B144. I always try to advertise in interesting places. I expect clients to reach me in these ways."

How do you advertise yourself other than B144?

"We have a website promotion company that promotes us through our college website."

How has the corona affected your business?

"It has caused us to enroll fewer students per course, and each course lengthens and continues, as the classes are zoomed in and it is more difficult to reach full comprehension and absorption ability, compared to frontal lessons."

What tip do you have for other business owners?

"Invest in clients, more than ever, even if it involves additional expense, such as extending the duration of the course. Take care of a deeper level of explanation if you are teaching classes. We as lecturers need to know how to make adjustments to zoom classes for example and make sure we work properly in the new situation."

How do you envision your business in 5 years?

"In my opinion, the professions we teach will never disappear in my opinion. As long as the tax authority exists in Israel, businesses are required to pay and the income tax requires reports, these professions will be needed because a human factor is required. No computer can do that, because there is a lot of discretion. "On the subject of taxation. Therefore, in my opinion, the college will continue to grow and develop. A lot of people have dropped out of various industries because of the corona and will look for an anchor in stable professions, such as those who study with us."
