Rallies in Turkey, Latvia, Argentina, Greece and Italy (Monza) are also in reserve if the developments of the coronavirus epidemic prevent the holding of scheduled events, the FIA said in October 2020.
Six rallies minimum to award a title
Faced with the Covid-19 pandemic making any rally uncertain, a point of regulation was added in 2021: at least half of the events planned in the initial WRC calendar must be organized for the titles to be awarded.
That is at least six out of the twelve planned for this season.
