Biden to Sign 15 Executive Orders on His First Day in the White House, Including Freezing the Border Wall

President-elect Joe Biden plans to take up to 15 executive actions on the first day of his presidency, which opens this Wednesday.

Several of them plan to reverse policies of the hitherto president, Donald Trump, on issues such as

immigration, the management of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change

. 

One of the measures he will take immediately, as announced by incoming White House officials, has the objective of paralyzing the construction of the border wall with Mexico,

re-include undocumented immigrants in the census

Biden plans to immediately terminate this project through a measure called a presidential proclamation, the emergency declaration that Trump made to be able to allocate federal funds to the construction of the wall, according to members of the future Administration.
