Police were called this morning to the Ezrat Torah neighborhood in Jerusalem, following a report of a breach of the corona and quarantine regulations - and were attacked with a barrage of stones. One of the stones thrown at a police car shattered the car window, hitting the head of a police officer sitting in it. The policeman was injured and needed medical treatment.

In ultra-Orthodox population centers in the capital continue to violate corona regulations, despite the dramatic increase in morbidity and mortality in the sector. Last night (Tuesday), police officers operating in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo (Shuafat Ridge) in Jerusalem located a wedding event with dozens of participants. The wedding took place in a school hall that was "converted" into a ballroom, in complete violation of the Corona regulations and closure guidelines.

With the arrival of the police forces some of the guests started to leave the place. The police enforced, recorded reports against the guests and the person in charge of operating the place - and stopped the pirate wedding.
