The death toll from Covid-19 in the United States exceeded that of American soldiers killed during World War II on Wednesday, January 20, according to the Johns Hopkins University count which refers to it.

The world's leading power has deplored 405,400 deaths since the start of the pandemic, more than the number of American soldiers killed in and outside combat during World War II, which stands at 405,399, according to the veterans ministry.
