Rouen at the end of 2019, Narbonne then Albertville in December 2020 ... For a little over a year, at least three hospitals have been the target of cybercriminals.
All in a context where specialists are observing a very rapid increase in the level of cyberthreats, an increase observed even before the pandemic.
These attacks in particular shed light on the rise in ransomware since 2019, which, putting information systems out of order to function, aim to blackmail, in addition to healthcare establishments, businesses or administrations.

In 2019, there were thus, all objectives combined, 54 ransomware attacks processed by the National Information Systems Security Agency (Anssi, attached to the Secretary General of Defense and National Security).
They were 192 in 2020. Underestimated figures because, despite a patient and rigorous effort combining education and information, some of the attacks are not declared.
