The Syrian Karate team will enter the special preparation stage from its preparatory camp next week after completing the general preparation stage, which lasted about two months in the Al-Galaa and Tishreen halls in Damascus.
The SANA sports bulletin met with the national team player Mays Karah Falah, who explained that the first phase of the camp is very beneficial from the physical point of view because it included intensive training in fitness, strength, endurance and agility, pointing out that the second phase will focus on tactics and movements and everything related to the game’s plans noting the great effort made by the Federation The game and coaches supervising the national team.
According to Qara Falah, born in 2004, she began practicing karate at the age of five at the training center in Qardaha under the supervision of coach Essam Homsi, then joined the Youth Club under the supervision of coach Alaa Nasser, indicating that she is from a sports family, so her brothers all practice karate and they are champions of the Republic, and her older brother Fadi got sixth place Globally.
Karah Falah added that, in her first foreign participation, she achieved the gold medal in the West Asian Championship that was held in the Emirate of Sharjah, which made her ambition grow to achieve the best at the Asian and international levels, pointing at the same time that she won a gold weight in all the governorate and republic championships since 2009 So far, in addition to the two gold medals of the Junior Olympiad in 2017 and 2019, and the gold in the Open Club Championship.
It is noteworthy that the players participating in the camp, in addition to Mays Qara Falah, are Wissam Abu Mahmoud, Muhammad Nour Khamis, Ahmed Radwan, Hadar Ali, Youssef Sayouh, Mustafa Amshouq, Khaled Abu Alwan, Hadeel Abu Raslan and Yasmine Mahmoud.
