Documentation circulated in the last day on social media shows thousands of people without masks and in particularly high density, who arrived last Monday at the main synagogue of one of the factions of the Bobov storks, on the occasion of the wedding of the Rebbe's youngest son.
The guidelines in New York forbid the holding of mass events, but nonetheless the Hasidim insist on holding them.
Therefore, such weddings are done in secret and while maintaining extensive compartmentalization until the last minute.
Hundreds who came from Europe as well as Israel reportedly attended the current wedding.
Huge posters hung on the synagogue windows that hid the incident from the authorities.
