Today, the Chinese National Health Commission announced the registration of 103 new cases of Coronavirus, including 88 cases of local infection and 15 cases from abroad.
The committee said in its daily report that no deaths were reported from the disease yesterday.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland reached 88,557 as of Tuesday, including 1,473 patients who are still receiving treatment and 62 of them are in serious condition.
A total of 82,449 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland and 4,635 patients died, according to the commission.
In India, the death toll from Corona rose to 10595660 today, after 13823 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours, according to the latest data issued by the Federal Ministry of Health.
The data also reported an increase in the total number of deaths from Covid 19 to 152,718, with 162 new deaths recorded.
This is the first time during the past months that the number of active cases in India has fallen below the 200,000 mark.
In the Arab world, Jordan recorded 17 new deaths from the Coronavirus, bringing the number of deaths to 4,170 people, while the number of infections recorded since the outbreak of the epidemic reached 316,427 cases, according to the Ministry of Health data.
