This was the arrival of Joe Biden arrives at the White House 3:57
(CNN) ––
The White House website, Whitehouse.gov, was updated this Wednesday to reflect that Joe Biden is the new president of the United States, and now also includes a section in Spanish, which was removed during the term of Donald Trump.
The White House homepage for its communications in Spanish was deactivated in 2017. At the time, then-press secretary Sean Spicer indicated that the site would be restored, but that never happened.

The White House's Twitter account for Spanish-language communications, @LaCasaBlanca, continued to operate during Trump's time in office.
But the omission of the Spanish section of the White House website was a clear divergence from a custom of the presidential office, which had been observed during the administrations of Barack Obama and George W. Bush.
There was no Spanish page of the White House during Trump
The lack of a White House page in Spanish under Trump also reflected the sentiments he had expressed in the election campaign.
Precisely, the now former president affirmed that immigrants in the United States "have to speak English."
Also that the United States "is a country where we speak English, not Spanish."

Trump launched as a presidential campaign platform in 2016 the proposal to stop further immigration to the United States.
In that sense, he focused on migrants from Latin America, especially from Mexico and the Middle East.
He ate the Philly cheesesteak during the campaign at a restaurant known for the owner's controversial decision to put up a sign that read “This is America.
When ordering, speak English.
Trump even tried to use the bilingualism of a Republican opponent in the primaries as a political weapon.
Speaking about his then opponent Jeb Bush and the criticisms he presented in Spanish, Trump said: "I like Jeb… But I really should set an example by speaking in English while in the United States."

Shortly after Biden's swearing-in ceremony, the National Archives also launched its website for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library, which houses the version of the Whitehouse.gov page under Trump.
Additionally, he archived social media posts and ultimately investigations into his tenure in office.
The Trump Library will be the 15th presidential library operated by the National Archives.
