The last step Joe Biden must take to become president of the United States is to take an oath of 35 words (in English) that has not changed in more than 200 years.
It is the same that appears in Article II of the Constitution and that each of the Democrat's predecessors, including Donald Trump, have spoken since George Washington did it for the first time in 1789. In the 35-word formula established by the Constitution The expression: "with the help of God" does not appear.
The religious invocation has been added because it is the usual closure in all oaths taken in politics in the United States.
In this video we show you what those words are through a montage that unites the oaths made by Baracka Obama, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Richard Nixon, among others.
