Elements of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate in Lattakia today organized 70 ration checks.

Engineer Samer Al-Sousi, Director of Internal Trade, said in a statement to SANA's correspondence that the seizures included trading in diesel fuel, possession of expired foodstuffs in two stores in Sulaibah and Jabla, a car dealing in bread-making, lack of a specification for a Bakdash store, lack of possession of an invoice, food samples and non-food samples, possession of unknown source materials, and failure to prepare A cost statement in shops in Lattakia.

The seizure also included transporting milk in an open and un-cooled car, selling catering bread outside the card to approved in Jableh, trading in catering bread, refraining from selling in some areas, and not announcing prices in a number of shops in Sulaibah, Annaba, Kursana, Antioch Street, Jableh, Al-Skantouri, Pine, and Al-Haffah.
