One week after the riots, Talmud Torah in Ashdod is still open
Despite the clashes and riots, in which dozens were arrested and policemen injured, ultra-Orthodox educational institutions in the city are opening their gates contrary to Corona guidelines.
A senior member of the Jerusalem faction in the city claims that this is a priority and even claims discrimination: "Aware of the risk and choosing to take it, God will help with the fines."

One week after the clashes and riots, the Talmud Torah of the Jerusalem faction in Ashdod continues to work as usual.
And not only is the Talmud Torah of the open faction, a number of other Talmud Torahs in the city of Ashdod open their gates contrary to the guidelines.
Throughout the week and today (Thursday) Talmud HaTorah is open, the Ministry of Health's instructions and the difficult confrontation with the police during which three policemen were injured and arrested dozens of demonstrators do not prevent the heads of educational institutions from opening them, nor the many fines they receive from Ashdod Municipality.
"I understand and agree with the claim that the corona is dangerous and kills but we will be real with ourselves, how much we are really guarded and guarded," says a senior in Peleg and continues to attack critics for opening Talmud Torah: "I would ask all those who shout about the 'dangers of infection' with us Do they adhere to the guidelines? "

He also laments that the treatment of them is discriminatory, compared to what demonstrations receive.
"The artists' protest against all the rules of the Corona Restrictions, I did not see anyone attack them for it. On the contrary, they embraced and justified their struggle. If the state determined that the sanctity of demonstrations in the name of freedom of freedom is more important than the sanctity of life what message do we get when we see all Balfour The corona is not contagious? Does the protester's grandparents or neighbor in Balfour have immunity? "
"The conclusion is one, each sector and each person has priorities for what he must fight for and what is of supreme value for him, how to preserve and how much he is willing to take risks," adds the senior member of the Jerusalem faction who recognizes the dangers of opening institutions.
"We chose to take the danger and on the other hand the observance of what for us is a supreme value and that is the continuation of the routine of life and Torah study."

Even the fines of thousands of shekels every week that the yeshiva absorbs do not make them change their attitude, according to the senior official, they are not at all excited about it.
"Money is not really an issue for us, we have been living for several years in a way that is almost completely financially detached from state budgets, most of our institutions are not budgeted at all or partially minor and there are good messengers to God who help and help us financially for our existence. "He will make sure to send us good emissaries who will pay them, just as donors arrived this week and paid tens of thousands of shekels to the yeshiva students whose clothes were damaged in the last protest in Ashdod."
