Doron Cohen, 24, began his career in the field as a child when he was only 13. He learned the secrets of cooking in a vocational school and while studying he worked at a butcher shop for several years.
He then worked in various restaurants until he enlisted in the army, where he asked to be a cook, did not get the opportunity, but he did not give up.
During the service he started working as a cook and studied to be a chef at Dan Gourmet, continued to work as a chef in catering companies, banquet halls and is now self-employed, having set out as a private chef two years ago.
In a conversation we had with Doron Cohen he said: "Before I close an event I sit down with the client and discuss with him all the details to understand what he expects exactly and what he wants to be. Every client of mine is a VIP, who gets full attention - everything he asks for "The smallest details. I build the menu for the event with the customer and even if the dish does not appear in the standard menu, I give him all the best I have to offer. The dream? In the future I aspire to own a boutique restaurant that will serve selected meats."
