The Iranian Minister of Transport, Muhammad Islami, announced that the talks on "connecting the transit" with Syria via railways in Iraqi lands "have reached good stages."
"The negotiations are continuing and are being pursued at the present time," an Islamist said in a radio interview today, referring to "the importance of economic exchange with the countries of the resistance axis."
Islami stressed that one of the goals of the United States of America and its allies and affiliated groups in waging wars and stirring up conflicts in the region is to undermine the infrastructure in their countries as well as to create chaos and instability.
And Islami indicated that America and its allies and mercenaries planned for this meticulously to prevent any economic and commercial cooperation and exchange between these countries, and among what they had done was the destruction of transportation routes, especially land such as roads, railways and trains between these countries, and they also obstructed any communication between these countries by creating barriers or Sabotage of land lines of communication.
In July 2019, Syria, Iran and Iraq signed the minutes of a meeting for cooperation in the field of comprehensive transport.
