A fatal industrial accident happened in Tuen Mun where it fell into a garbage chute.
At about 0:17 am on Friday (22nd), the police received a report from an employee in the underground garbage room of Jingle Building, Shanshan Village, stating that a male worker had been found unconscious in one of the garbage bins.
The ambulancemen rushed to the report and immediately rushed the victim to Tuen Mun Hospital. However, he was dying and died after arriving at the hospital.
It is understood that the deceased was named Guan (58 years old) and was a part-time cleaner. He went to work at 7 o'clock last night (21st), but at the time of 11 o'clock in the evening, his colleague hadn't seen him for a long time, and he could not contact him. The security director of the building, everyone "washed the building" layer by layer to no avail, eventually found him in a trash can in the garbage room on the ground.
According to sources, Guan Nan was covered by a garbage dump at the time, and was only discovered because a little clothing was exposed.
The firefighter arrived at the scene to pull the trash can out of the garbage room and rescue Guan Nan, but it was too late.
After preliminary investigation by the police, it was suspected that Guan Nan fell into the garbage chute from the top floor of the 35th floor and flew to the ground garbage room. The case was classified as an "industrial accident" and the cause of the tragedy is being investigated.

In October 2011, there was also a 60-year-old female cleaner in San Shing Village, Tuen Mun. She was suspected of stumbled and fell into the garbage dump in the trough. She was trapped for 6 hours before being rescued. Fortunately, she fell from the second floor and was not seriously injured. Fate; September 11, 2017, a male cleaning worker surnamed Chen (52 years old), while working in the underground garbage room of An Tao Building, Chang'an Village, Tsing Yi, was suspected of slipping and falling into the garbage chute and was trapped. Fortunately, the workers heard the call for help , Reveal the incident in time, there is no danger.
