Gilching may soon have one of the largest open-space photovoltaic systems in the district.

A development via Kraillinger Flur has already been rejected by the Krailling municipality.

Gilching - In the community of Gilching, one of the largest open-space photovoltaic systems in the Starnberg district is to be built on both sides of the A96.

It starts with an area south of the motorway, Argelsried district.

A development via Kraillinger Flur was rejected by the Krailling municipality.

In general, authorities and private individuals rated the open space photovoltaics project, for which some farmers had come together, positively when the development plan was first designed.

For the time being, three project areas with a size of around twelve hectares are planned along the motorway towards Munich, approximately at the level of Argelsried / Gut Hüll.

It is positive for the investors that, according to the EEG (Renewable Energy Sources Act), not only will the construction work be funded on a corridor 110 meters wide, but the subsidy will be extended to 200 meters from 2021.

"That was an important point because as much space as possible should be used for regenerative energy generation," emphasized Mayor Manfred Walter at the building committee meeting this week.

"Provided that the local conditions such as topography, trees and trees and existing buildings allow this expansion."

Opinion also obtained from the Air Office in Southern Bavaria

A statement was also obtained from the Air Office of Southern Bavaria as part of the first interpretation.

Because the special airport Oberpfaffenhofen is very close, the planned photovoltaic system is directly below the approach lane of runway 22. As construction authority manager Max Huber explained, there are no concerns on the part of the air authority with regard to reflections from solar radiation.

Because the aircraft would be briefly illuminated from below during a direct overflight.

The pilot is not blinded when looking towards the runway.

The Office for Food, Agriculture and Forests, Weilheim, drew attention to the fact that agricultural operations must not be impaired in their development.

Furthermore, it must be ensured that existing farm roads can be used and maintained in sufficient width.

Concerning fears with regard to the high consumption of agricultural land, the Gilchingen building authority holds against it: “The soil is not built on permanently and therefore not sealed, but built over for a period of initially up to 30 years and only temporarily in the case of the planned sheep grazing even improved agricultural use. "

No development via Kraillinger Flur - Gilching's building authority takes it easy

The municipality of Krailling was also involved in the development plan procedure.

She drew attention to the fact that "a development of the facility via the Römerstraße, Gut Hüll and existing communal farm roads on Kraillinger Flur will not be approved".

Gilching's building authority took this announcement calmly: Huber stated that "a refusal to use communal farm roads will not endure from an antitrust perspective".

The members of the building committee approved changes and statements unanimously, the development plan is now in the second interpretation.

On Tuesday, January 26th, the municipal council will adjust the zoning plan.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the meeting room of the town hall.
