Millions for the children's home and school

The community of Finsing will invest most of the money in the next few years in expanding the school and kindergarten at Zur Sonnwend.

Millions of sums are planned.

Finsing - The preliminary consultations on the financial planning of the municipality of Finsing for 2021 to 2024 were not that easy.

After extensive and sometimes heated discussions in the municipal council as well as in the administrative and finance committee (we reported), the council members now agreed relatively quickly on the committee's recommendations.

As reported, the expansion of the Zur Sonnwend kindergarten in Neufinsing and the Finsing elementary and middle school will take up a large part of the finances in the coming years.

These are measures that cannot be avoided or pushed back due to the growth of the community.

A total of 3.5 million euros in total costs will probably be necessary for the kindergarten expansion.

1.5 million are to be taken in hand this year, 1.95 million in 2022. Investments in energy and roof renovation are planned for the coming year at 200,000 euros and for 2023 at 1.1 million euros.

The renovation of the associated outdoor facilities for an estimated total of 600,000 euros is to be completed in 2024.

Most of the costs for the expansion measures at the school are expected to be incurred in 2022 and 2023.

For the current year only 200,000 euros were hired.

In the next year this will increase to three million euros, in 2023 it will be 2.4 million euros.

A conclusion is expected in 2021 for the grandstand construction project of FC Finsing.

The total costs with which the community supports the association include almost 2.3 million euros, 450,000 euros of which are currently still open and will be invested in the coming months.

In total, the municipality's budget in 2021 will include almost ten million euros in the administrative budget, which covers daily business operations, and around 7.6 million euros in the asset budget for investments.
