Caritas Medical said that a 74-year-old female patient (case number: #9311) with a chronic illness was admitted to Caritas Medical Centre on the afternoon of January 10 due to hypoglycemia and pneumonia. The diagnosis was confirmed the next day.
The patient's condition continued to deteriorate, and he was separated from the world at 1:23 am.
The hospital feels sad about the death of the patient and will provide appropriate assistance to the family.
Together with the above cases, a total of 163 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have passed away in public hospitals. A total of 167 confirmed cases have passed away in Hong Kong.
According to the information, the female patient lived in Liyang House, Lai Chui Court, Cheung Sha Wan. She developed symptoms on January 3 and is an epidemiologically related case.
