The Delaware Human Association, which gave up "Major," one of US President Joe Biden's dogs, held an event on January 17 to celebrate the pet's arrival at the White House.
Although the virtual celebration had more than 7,000 attendees and raised several thousand dollars, it also caused annoyance among some people who called the event deceptive, since "Major" was not part of it.
However, the organization never said that the dog would be at the event.
