Dear readers, hello,
We have to face the facts, the exuberance of an American president is now a thing of the past.
“It's America Day.
It is the day of democracy, a day of history and hope
”;
"I will be the president of all Americans"
;
"We have a lot to do, a lot to repair, to build, to look after".
If some doubted it, Joe Biden's speech quickly reminded them of their senses yesterday.
Even the new White House strongman's first tweet, "It's a new day in America," was unusually sober.
Let's face it: we risk getting bored for the next four years, but is that a bad thing?
Certainly not, according to the EU.
Happy reading, and happy Thursday!
