Following a fight by the Act-IL group, the neo-Nazi group White American National Socialist was removed, in which antisemitic and sharp neo-Nazi content was involved.

Telegram permanently removed and blocked the neo-Nazi group White American National Socialist, which had been active in recent months and shared sharp anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi content.

The group, which numbered about 5,000 members, called for and encouraged violence, harm to Jews and other minorities, and adopted Nazi principles.

So far, the group has been in a struggle against it, which was partially successful about two weeks ago as published in "Israel Today".

In practice, the channel was then removed only for a day but then returned to more active operation.

At the same time, the directors of the neo-Nazi channel put the Act-Il organization on target, after realizing that he was responsible for the temporary blockade of the channel, and called on group members to attack the organization online.

Braking efforts now appear to have been successful, and thousands of reports to the Telegram platform and hundreds of emails sent by Act-IL community members from around the world to Telegram management have borne fruit.

In fact, it is an expression of the old and familiar anti-Semitism in a new platform, one of many kinds of expression of the interdisciplinary struggle required in the phenomenon today.

The channel's narrative supported the call for genocide and the murder of Jews, including Christmas wishes for the new civil year with pictures of Hitler.

Tom Berman, director of Act-IL, the online community and activism for the State of Israel and against anti-Semitism operating under the "Abba Even Institute for Diplomacy" at IDC Herzliya, expressed satisfaction with the group's blockade.

"We promised that the neo-Nazi group would be removed and blocked from a telegram - and we did. In the days when the issue of freedom of expression on social networks is in focus, we aim to take action against those who exploit digital platform freedoms to harm the Jewish people and the State of Israel." And other struggles in recent years have encouraged us and all the activists to continue the struggle against anti-Semitic and anti-Israel elements. "
