US President Joe Biden signed a number of executive decisions on the first day of his term that nullified a number of decisions by former US President Donald Trump.

The American (CNN) network reported today that among the decisions Biden signed were to impose wearing masks in government buildings for a period of 100 days, stopping Washington’s withdrawal from the World Health Organization and stopping construction of the border wall with Mexico, in addition to stopping the ban on entry of citizens of a number of countries to the United States. And an executive decision to ensure racial equality and another to re-join America to the Paris climate agreement.

Biden said during his signature of the executive decisions: "Some of the executive measures that I will sign today will help change the course of the Covid 19 crisis and combat climate change in ways that we have not yet done," describing the measures as (starting points) that he had promised during his election campaign.

(CNN) indicated that Biden plans to take 17 executive actions during the first hours of taking office and move faster and more aggressively to dismantle the legacy of his predecessor than any other president.

To that, (CNN) reported that the Biden administration expelled the White House chief of staff Timothy Harlith, whom Melania Trump had appointed in this position in 2017 after he was director of rooms at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.
