Two people were injured in a small travel gas explosion due to a gas leak from it at their home in the town of Balqsa in the western countryside of Homs.
Belqsa Mayor Kasser Al-Suleiman said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the gas explosion occurred while a housewife was cooking food near a wood stove, and as a result of the gas leakage, the (traveling) gas cylinder exploded, which led to the serious injury of the housewife and her husband, and a large fire broke out in the house and damaged its walls.
Al-Suleiman indicated that the townspeople cooperated in putting out the fire and helping the injured to the hospital in Homs to receive appropriate treatment.
