Two policemen were injured today (Thursday) during riots in Bnei Brak.

Troops arrived on Rabbi Akiva Street in the city, in order to close a yeshiva that operated in violation of the Korona's guidelines.

The police were able to spot the yeshiva, even though the owners of the place tried to hide the fact that it was open.

An inspection revealed that there were dozens of crowds in the area, contrary to the guidelines.

The forces ordered the dispersal of the crowd, and in response the ultra-Orthodox barricaded themselves in the place, shouted at the police with derogatory cries, threw stones at the police car and later blocked the traffic lanes.

As mentioned, two policemen were lightly injured in the incident, and two ultra-Orthodox were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

On Monday, a mass wedding was reported in the city in violation of the guidelines, when according to the suspicion, about 700 guests were present.

Large forces of police arrived after reports of the incident and dispersed the wedding.
