A 13-year-old threatened an 11-year-old at a sports field in Geretsried with a deceptively real pistol.
The background was probably a snowball fight.
Geretsried - The eleven-year-old called the police on Thursday around 4.45 p.m. and reported that he had just been threatened with a pistol by a 15-year-old on the sports field on Robert-Schumann-Weg.
As a result, several strips immediately moved out to the sports field.
With the help of the eleven-year-old, the suspect, a 13-year-old from Geretsried, could be located on site.
He had initially hidden the gun he was looking for.
When asked, he led the officers to the bushes where he had disposed of the weapon.
According to the press report, it is a so-called airsoft toy gun.
However, this looks deceptively similar to a real model in terms of shape and size.
For this reason, carrying such pistols in public, even if they are over-the-counter toys, is prohibited.
The police secured the pistol and notified the 13-year-old's mother, who was able to pick up her child from the police station.
The 11-year-old boy was brought home from a police patrol.
Even if the 13-year-old is not yet of criminal age, a report on the incident will still be presented to the prosecutor, according to the police.
According to initial findings, the background to the incident was a previous snowball fight.
