A 20-year-old prisoner, a resident of the north, is accused of threatening to kill his wife and family members and injuring their young children - it was learned this morning (Friday).
The indictment was filed yesterday against the prisoner, originally from Sakhnin, who is currently serving a prison sentence after being convicted of assaulting his wife.
The affair began about two weeks ago, when the woman complained to police that her husband called her from jail, threatening to stabb her to death when he was released.
He also threatened to harm her parents, rape her sisters and harm their joint children.
Following this, the prisoner was questioned at the Misgav station and yesterday an indictment was filed against him for threats by the police prosecution department.

Data from the Ministry of Justice for 2020 show a tens of percent increase in applications for a protection order due to domestic violence, against the background of the social effects of the closures and the corona restrictions.
The report shows an increase of about 22% in applications for legal aid in applications for protection orders due to domestic violence - 2,056 applications in the corona year, compared to slightly less than 1,700 applications in the previous year.
While in the Tel Aviv district there was a negligible increase of a few percent in these applications, in the Be'er Sheva, central and northern districts there was an increase of about 50%.
