Corona viruses continue to rage around the world, especially in Latin America.
Authorities in Mexico reported tonight (Thursday) that 1,803 corona patients have died in the past day - another negative record in the daily death toll, which continues to rise.
The previous record was broken just last week with more than 1,500 deaths in 24 hours.
The Mexican Ministry of Health has reported 22,339 new people infected with the virus, bringing the country to cross the 1.7 million mark of the plague outbreak.
At present, the number of cases is 1,711,283, and the death toll has risen to 146,174.
At the same time, the virus continues to strike in the giant country of Brazil.
In the city of Manaus, which experienced a fatal eruption, the oxygen balloons in the hospitals ran out.
Meaning: Patients in need of oxygen simply suffocated in their beds.
The hospitals collapsed, and were unable to provide treatment to all applicants.
Relatives of patients had to stand in line for hours in order to buy themselves oxygen balloons for their loved ones.
Those same citizens would rather take care of those close to them at home, rather than take them to the hospital, which will probably not be able to provide them with proper care or even be unable to receive them.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health has announced 1,316 new deaths from the virus.
This is the third day in a row with more than 1,000 dead.
Thus, the number of virus victims from the outbreak of the plague rose to 214,147.
The daily number of infections reached almost 60,000, bringing the number of infections to 8,697,368.
