According to the gazette information, the airlines of the Greater Bay Area hope that the routes designated by the Greater Bay Area will mainly focus on the mainland and neighboring Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and even South Asia.
Among the 104 routes that Gulf Air has applied for, there are 48 destinations in mainland cities, and the shortest destination is Guangzhou; while the destinations in East Asia include Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, among which 13 Japanese destinations have been applied for; Southeast Asia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and other ASEAN countries are all destinations covered by the application.
The departure locations of the relevant routes of Greater Bay Area Airlines are all Hong Kong International Airport. It is proposed to apply for passenger, cargo and mail services, but the temporary timetable for the departure of the application is still to be determined.
Huang Chubiao, the founder of Greater Bay Area Airlines, revealed in an earlier interview that at the initial stage of the Greater Bay Area Airlines, the fleet is expected to have only 5 aircraft, and the number of aircraft in the fleet will only increase to 30 by 2025.
