It is a dramatic scene that the gendarmes and the agents of the SPA Paris had to face on Friday January 15 by participating in a rescue operation of about thirty dogs living in unsanitary conditions in La Roche-Morey and Fleury- lès-Lavencourt, in Haute-Saône, as reported by our colleagues from

Malinois, German shepherds and staffs, a total of 32 canines were found in two homes a few kilometers away.
Some were dehydrated, others were severely malnourished, and all were covered with ticks.
Many even lived in complete darkness.

Friday January 15, several SPA trucks came especially from Paris to take care of the animals.
They were accompanied by the veterinary services of Haute-Saône.
About thirty gendarmes, including three dog handlers equipped with suits, were also mobilized to seize the dogs.

Two brothers aged 24 and 27 are suspected of mistreating their animals.
They were taken into police custody for “
violence, serious abuse and cruelty to domestic animals
”.
They will be summoned later by the judicial court of Vesoul, specifies France 3.
