Pablo Moyano's lawyer in the Independent case, Daniel Llermanos, will be investigated in the next few days accused of threats, false testimony and instigation of false accusations, in a fact with few precedents that may cause a return to the investigation for alleged illicit association of the union leader, who was recently removed from the investigation.

The decision was made by prosecutor Javier Martínez, who accused Llermanos and his colleagues Víctor Hortel and Facundo Melo of

threatening Damián Lagaronne

, one of the eleven defendants in the Independiente case, to make a false complaint against prosecutor Sebastián Scalera.

In his foundations, Martínez assured that "between December 4 and 6, 2018, the lawyer Facundo Melo, who at that time was appointed as defender of Damián Lagaronne, appeared at the Alcaidía No. 3 of La Plata, where he interviewed with his client who, through false promises that he would obtain a procedural benefit in the case, as well as through the use of threats related to the security and physical integrity of both him and his family, coerced him so that, conditioned in his will, transcribe an application for Habeas Corpus and a false complaint against Sebastián Scalera, prosecutor of Lomas de Zamora. "

"This being the case and following the plan, on December 10, 2018, Dr. Víctor Hortel appeared in Chamber II of the Lomas de Zamora Chamber of Appeals and Guarantees, where he filed a criminal complaint and a Habeas Corpus appeal , falsely denouncing that Dr.

Sebastián Scalera had coerced Lagaronne,

and thus requesting that the search of the Attorney General of Lomas de Zamora be ordered. In turn, in said presentation, Dr. Hortel accompanied and transcribed the handwritten note under coercion by Lagaronne, thus giving use to the previously falsified document ", described the representative of the Public Ministry.

On October 19, prosecutor Sebastián Scalera had sent the son of the leader of the Truckers Union to trial.

It advanced in the file after that in December of last year, the Avellaneda judge Brenda Madrid had closed the investigation and sent the bar Pablo "Bebote" Álvarez to oral proceedings as head of the illicit association, along with Damián Lagaronne, Roberto ( Polaco) Petrov, Noray Nakis and Hector “Yoyo” Maldonado among others.

That first part of the file did not include Pablo and Hugo Moyano, since the prosecutor Scalera made a split of the case in relation to Pablo Moyano (whom the other defendants called "Wild"), Ayelén Petrov (daughter of the Polaco) and Carlos Zambrana ("Carlin" from the Pepsi neighborhood).

All of them were investigated after the first prosecutions, which explains the delay in their definition in the file.

In the second section of the case, Pablo Moyano was investigated as the head of an alleged illicit association together with a faction of the barra brava of that club.

But last December, the Avellaneda judge Brenda Madrid decided to make room for Llermanos's claim, who had requested the dismissal by arguing that there was no evidence to support the accusation.

Hortel, from the Penitentiary Service to "the fight against hunger"

Víctor Hortel is a lawyer who gained public notoriety when in 2012, when he was head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, he had promoted Vatayón Militante, the group that recruited prisoners within the prisons and organized temporary outings to cultural events without judicial endorsement.

Among the beneficiaries of that program were - among many others - prisoners for femicide, such as former Callejeros drummer Eduardo Vázquez, convicted of the crime of Wanda Taddei;

and Pablo Díaz, who confessed to having abused and murdered Soledad Bargna;

but Hortel remained in office.

An investigation by

Clarín

, which even revealed images of Hortel disguised as Spider-Man sharing acts with the prisoners,

did not remove the support of the Cristina Kirchner government.

Nor when it transpired that an artisanal boat began to be built in a Puerto Rawson shipyard - at a cost of close to a million dollars - with the aim that prisoners from Rawson's Unit 6 went out to fish at sea and then processed the product in a plant on the prison grounds.

Hortel only left his post in 2013, when 13 prisoners from the Federal Penitentiary Complex I of Ezeiza escaped, and he denounced that SPF personnel who resisted the transformation process had given him a "bill" pass.

However, Hortel is "back": last September he was appointed as national director of Coordination and Normative Projection of Social Policies of the National Council for the Coordination of Social Policies of the Presidency, the area in charge of Victoria Tolosa Paz.
