While a public radio questioned the colonial stereotypes in the adventures of the elephant king, “Disney +” preceded certain cartoons with warnings that would convey prejudices unfavorable to minorities (the cat with slanted eyes, or the red skins in Peter Pan).
While pornography wreaks havoc on young people, there is nothing more urgent than putting Dumbo under parental control.
At the same time, the popular singer Camélia Jordana declares in a weekly magazine:
"If I were a man, I would ask forgiveness".
We could be content with laughing, and not offering
"stupid opinions the pleasure of scandalizing us"
(Gomez Davilà), if this new victim ideology was not becoming hegemonic in the big cultural industries and at the university.
