In a statement to SANA, Dr. Amal Dakak, a professor at Damascus University and supervisor of a master's degree in qualification and specialization in folklore, stated that during the years of the war on Syria, masters' students were able to present their projects in a specific time and their topics varied, covering most regions despite the difficult conditions of the siege that the homeland lived in and reflected on students Knowledge, especially with regard to completing their research and printing their letters, but they defied the circumstances and worked hard to implement the required proficiency in order to obtain this master’s degree.

According to Dr. Amal, the topics of the letters varied over the past years, as their number reached about 100 graduation projects, where the student was left free to choose the title of his thesis in coordination with supervisors from all specialties of fine arts and architecture, the College of Education and Literature in its various departments, the College of Information and the Higher Institute for Theatrical Arts, noting the importance of the Master’s because it includes He also has a large number of specializations and his contribution through the research presented with scientific evidence confirming the richness of the Syrian heritage, both tangible and intangible.

Dr. Amal pointed to the importance of completing the documentary scientific project by strengthening school curricula with these rich materials to introduce students to the heritage of their homeland in addition to spreading the Syrian heritage through all methods and means, including the media, to deliver it to the largest number of those interested in heritage, holding specialized intellectual seminars and reviving the Syrian heritage by linking the product.
