In Glashütte, watchmakers have been shaping the passage of time for one hundred and seventy-five years.
Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, watchmaking Saxony has done much more than resuscitate.
In particular thanks to a certain Walter Lange, great-grandson of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, creator of the manufacture of the same name.
In 1990, he started from scratch, between the bombardments and the dismantling of the machines by the Soviet occupier.
Since its first four models, which have become legendary, saw the light of day on October 24, 1994, A. Lange & Söhne has proven to what extent the movements which are refined there can compete with the best Swiss made houses.
To the point of always assembling them twice!

But it is also through the finesse of its finishes and the unique architecture of its dials that the brand has made a name for itself.
To celebrate the one hundred and seventy-five years of the watchmaking presence in Glashütte, the manufacture wanted to prove that the simple act of changing a dial could transform a watch.
