A medical study revealed that "the tongue of Covid" may be one of the new and strange symptoms of infection with the Covid 19 virus.
The British newspaper, The Sun, quoted an epidemiologist at King's College London, Professor Tim Spector, as saying in a tweet on Twitter that "many patients suffer from symptoms of a" tongue of Covid "that the World Health Organization did not include on the list of symptoms of infection," indicating the presence of increasing numbers of Strange mouth ulcers among Corona virus patients.
"One in five people with Covid still suffers from less common symptoms that do not appear in the official list of Corona symptoms, such as a new rash or mouth sores," he added.
In the tweet, Spector posted a terrible picture of what a "Covid tongue" could look like.
For her part, Gabriel Scully, a physician of public health and head of epidemiology and public health at the Royal Society of Medicine, said that the virus can produce "effects in such a wide range of body systems," adding that the symptoms in the mouth were linked to Covid 19 some time ago.
It is noteworthy that aches, sore throat, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, headache, loss of taste or smell, new rashes and discoloration of fingers or toes are all listed as less common symptoms of Coronavirus by the World Health Organization.
