Oslo-Sana
Today, the Norwegian government announced the imposition of partial lockdown measures, which are the most stringent since the beginning of the Corona epidemic in the capital, Oslo, and its suburbs, after detecting infections with the mutated British virus.
"We have put in place the most stringent measures since last March in ten municipalities, and the new measures will make daily life difficult for many," Agence France-Presse quoted Health Minister Bint Hui as saying in a press conference, indicating that all public events, whether indoor or outdoor, will be canceled except for ceremonies. Funerals and restaurants will be restricted to serving outside orders.
The Norwegian Institute of Public Health announced yesterday that two residents of a care home who died and were over 90 years old had been infected with the mutated virus, while a total of 22 employees and 12 residents were infected with the Corona virus without being confirmed at the time that it is related to the same strain.
