Now it's official: Heinrich Hecht is the new director of the merged AOK directorate in Freising-Erding.
Erding - His beginning in Erding began with a farewell: after nine years at the head of the largest health insurance company in the district, his predecessor Andreas Kochbeck was retired to the Mühldorf head office.
He leaves a well-ordered house: During Kochbeck's tenure, the insurance company grew by 6,000 to 53,000 customers.
The advisory board chairmen Rudolf Waxenberger and Willi Scheib praised this: "The care of the insured in the Erding district and the support of the local companies and service providers have always been his top priority."
What is remarkable about the press release about the change is that the word fusion, which is highly controversial in Erding, does not appear in it at all.
Instead, it is said that both locations have equal rights and that their jobs will be retained.

Hecht is 55 years old and has been Director of AOK Freising for 25 years.
