The Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Muhammad Bagheri, affirmed the readiness of the Iranian armed forces to fully respond decisively to any threat affecting the security and stability of the country.
In a letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Ali Khamenei, Bagheri referred to the success of the maneuvers carried out by the Iranian forces under the title of power 99 and the maneuvers of the greatest prophet of the Revolutionary Guard on the coasts of Makran, the northern Indian Ocean, and recently in the Gulf waters.
Bagheri noted the rise of the defense industry, the capabilities and the comprehensive equipment of the Iranian forces to the level of strategic deterrence and the opening of paths to enhance capabilities in order to respond to the victorious threats and intentions of enemies, stressing Iran's determination to continue strengthening its defense and deterrence capabilities.
