Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova confirmed that the Russian vaccines to treat the Corona virus have proven effective against all strains of the virus, including the new ones that were discovered in Britain.
"The health authorities in Russia will be provided with 17 million doses of the anti-Corona vaccine, provided that about 20 million Russians will be vaccinated in the first quarter of this year," Gulikova was quoted by RIA Novosti agency as saying in a statement.
In the same context, Golikova explained that research on the source of Corona is continuing, noting that bats remain the most likely source of the epidemic.
Today, the Russian health authorities recorded, for the first time in more than two months, less than 21,000 new cases of corona during the past 24 hours.
