Today, Iraqi forces dismantled a terrorist cell affiliated with ISIS in Kirkuk Governorate, northern Iraq, and arrested its members.
According to a statement issued by the National Security in the governorate, and Alsumaria News received a copy of it, after receiving accurate intelligence information, National Security detachments in Kirkuk managed to arrest a terrorist cell whose members belong to what are known as sleeper cells consisting of five wanted persons according to Article 4 terrorism, and they admitted during interrogation that they had received instructions. To reorganize them to launch terrorist operations, as well as to confess their former affiliation to the so-called Al-Jund Diwan ... Kirkuk State.
The statement pointed out that some of the detainees participated in terrorist attacks on the village of Al-Bashir and the Baiji refinery, and attacked the security forces in the governorate, indicating that they were referred to the judiciary to take measures against them.
