The Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries of terrorist organizations continue to threaten the lives of one million people in the city of Hasakah and its western countryside, as they prevented the operation of the Alouk water station for the seventh day in a row and stopped pumping water from it.

The director of the Water Corporation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ikla, stated in a statement to the SANA reporter that government efforts have been intensified in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross with the aim of providing drinking water and private water for domestic use for citizens and alleviating them from the effects of the Turkish occupation crime by cutting off water from them, pointing out that the Foundation is doing The water tanks scattered in the city of Hasakah are being filled throughout the day with drinking water, while the Hasakah city council operates special tanks to mobilize private water for household uses for citizens in their places of residence.

Al-Ekla pointed out that there are continuous efforts to re-enter the water workshops at the Alouk station, to work on operating them, and to re-pump water to the subscribers according to the applicable rationing program.

It is noteworthy that it is the eighteenth time that the Turkish occupation cuts off drinking water for the people of Al-Hasakah and its countryside, threatening the lives of one million people and depriving them of the most basic necessities of life.
