The criminal lawyer César Gutiérrez Priego explains in what context the announcement by the Attorney General of the Republic that it did not find evidence to judge the former Secretary of Defense of Mexico Salvador Cienfuegos, who faced four charges in the United States: three for drug trafficking related to the alleged conspiracy to manufacture, import and distribute heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana to United States territory, and another for money laundering.
Cienfuegos has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
