% Of high-tech companies plan to reduce real estate space and consolidate offices, against the background of remote work, which is expected to continue in part in the coming years, according to a survey conducted by the international firm BDO, which included 100 CFOs in technology companies.

Survey participants expressed optimism about the coming year: 54% expect an increase in sales and profitability and 65% estimate that the global economy will recover.

Steps that technology companies plan to take in the face of the crisis: reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, locating backup providers and expanding operations in other countries.

According to Yaniv Cohen, partner and head of the Technology Cluster at BDO Israel, the survey reveals that despite the worsening global morbidity, technology companies maintain a high level of optimism, which probably stems from the advancement of vaccines and the feeling that high-tech will continue to grow even under closure.
