The government will vote today (Sunday) to halt outbound and inbound flights for two weeks.
He brought the proposal to the approval of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prevent the intrusion of corona mutations into Israel, after discussions on the subject with senior officials in the Ministry of Health and Transport over the weekend.
While waiting for the start of the meeting, which is taking place at Zoom, a confrontation took place between Housing Minister Yaakov Litzman and Internal Security Minister Amir Ohana.
Litzman addressed Ohana in the wake of the police clashes with ultra-Orthodox people across the country in an attempt to enforce the closure violations, and asked for an explanation of "this police rampage in Bnei Brak," to which Ohana replied, "Tell me what this rampage is."
Litzman replied, "The pictures will tell you everything," to which the Minister of Internal Security has already replied, "If you want you to know my phone, we will do it together and not in this forum."
