Today, the Israeli occupation authorities seized a historic building in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Ma'an News Agency stated that the occupation’s takeover of a 500-square-meter historic building aims to expand settlement operations and establish new settlement units.
Within the framework of its Judaizing and aggressive plans to displace Palestinians, the occupation is escalating settlement operations in the West Bank, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, amid neglect of international resolutions, especially Security Council Resolution No. 2334 of 2016, which affirms the illegality of settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories and demands that it be stopped immediately.
