Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court Judge Anat Yahav this morning (Monday) extended by three days the detention of the four suspects who attacked the police in Bnei Brak on Thursday.

The four claimed that three of them had just hit the vehicle.

The judge's decision stated that there was a reasonable suspicion that the suspects had committed the attribution.

"The incident that happened is not at all similar to the version of the suspects, who give a similar version," she noted.

"This is a shocking, almost lynching incident, in which a vehicle tries to flee the scene, with all those involved trying to prevent it from happening in a violent and frightening manner."

The lawyers sought to release the four suspects under house arrest far from Bnei Brak.

According to the lawyers, the Rebbe ordered everyone involved in the act to report to the police station and therefore the investigation could not be disrupted.

It will be recalled that this was a serious assault on three police officers from the Licensing Unit, during their operation to enforce the regulations of the Corona in an educational institution that acted in violation of the guidelines.

They were dressed in civilian clothes, and there were no police identification marks on the vehicle.

The suspects and others gathered around the vehicle in which the officers were sitting on duty, and threw stones and planks at them in a manner that caused their injury.

As mentioned, three of the suspects provided a version linking them to the incident, and the fourth claimed he did not touch the vehicle.

According to his version, the policemen were not attacked, and these suspects hit the vehicle with their hands to drive him away.

He further stressed that they took a minor part in what happened and others smashed the car windows.

Their lawyers presented a video of the incident to the court, claiming that the police did not know the role of the suspects in the act.

The lawyers further claimed that the suspects did not know that they were police officers.

According to them, they entered the educational institution on civilians and the suspects were sure that these were "moralists and stinkers" who wanted to create a provocation so that the Viznich followers would be seen as violating the guidelines.

The suspects claim that the police officers, who as mentioned arrived in civilian clothes, refused to identify themselves and entered the scene in a violent and defiant manner.

Following this, Judge Yahav asked if it was "okay" to lynch them, in light of the lawyers' explanation.
